January Jones, who wore a debatable (but mostly disliked) Versace dress to the Emmys earlier this year, is the label’s new spring 2011 face. Donatella Versace, who is “always on the lookout for the next Versace blonde,” gave Jones sixties hair and makeup to remind the world that she is on the show Mad Men. She doesn’t wear Versace clothes in the campaign but just poses with strategically placed Versace bags, shoes, shades, and glasses. Either minimalism is more in for spring than you thought, or Versace knows where their next meal is coming from in this economic climate, and it ain’t through clothing sales.
