Shortly after Sally Singer left Vogue for T, Mark Holgate was promoted from senior fashion writer to fashion news director in the beginning of June. Anna Wintour, who is usually quick to make up her mind about everything, including staffing, only just filled Holgate’s old position with Emily Holt. So congrats to Holt on not only the position, but also being the woman it took Anna six months to find. Holt has worked at WWD and W, hails from Los Gatos, California, and has a master’s in journalism from NYU. [DFR]
