Angelina Jolie may strive to help poor, starving people in impoverished nations, but she's apparently keen on accessorizing opposite sorts of folk. She's been working on a jewelry line with ex-Asprey CEO Robert Procop over the past year. The pieces are made with special stones, often set in rose gold, and include an emerald ring (set in rose gold) inspired by "ancient tablet engravings" that is similar to a design she made with Procop to gift to her man, Brad Pitt. Each piece will be sold not in stores but privately, through Procop's network of clients, with all proceeds going to Jolie's charity, the Education Partnership for Children of Conflict.
Procop thinks now is as good a time as any to launch a line of individually priced, super-fancy jewelry pieces
He noted that in uncertain economic times, many of his clients see major jewelry purchases as investments.
Investments in making the world a better place — while looking like Brangelina. The more people look like those two the better the world would be anyway, obviously.
