Good news for André Leon Talley: Capes were right on trend on the fall 2011 menswear runways, fluttering down the catwalks in a rich variety of patterns and materials. Designers debuted neat, voluminous shapes, some demure (Dior Homme), some poncho-like (Iceberg), and some flat-out flamboyant (thanks for that, Walter Van Beirendonck).
