Tumblr Is Inviting a Horde of Bloggers to Fashion Week

In a bid to boost its reputation as the best platform for fashion blogging, Tumblr is inviting over twenty of its bloggers to Fashion Week, where they’ll be sent to parties and lunches and even a few as-yet-unnamed fashion shows. In return for Tumblr paying for the plane tickets and places to stay, the bloggers will post all their coverage from the week on Tumblr.com/nyfw, mixed in with content from other “media partners,” according to Rich Tong, Tumblr’s new fashion director.
