French Vogue's new editor, Emmanuelle Alt, has been making the rounds at the couture shows, while Carine Roitfeld does other things elsewhere. The Telegraph's Hilary Alexander accosted Alt with a camera crew backstage at Chanel — and she was forthcoming! And charming! And so lovely and fur-wearing and French! She said the magazine "will be the same but different" under her direction. She also takes Hilary through her outfit, which consists of Topshop and Ralph Lauren, and talks about her first fashion show, which was Jean Paul Gaultier, naturally. Good luck being her new best friend because now there really must be a line out the door.
