Michael Celestino, the executive vice-president of store operations at Barneys, was fired from his position on Monday and will be replaced by Kevin Dyson, the senior vice-president and general manager of Barneys’ Madison Avenue flagship. Women's Wear Daily reports that Celestino has worked at Barneys for twenty years and was a member of the seven-person executive team that ran Barneys during the two years that it operated without a CEO, of which there are now only three people remaining at the company (other recently departed executives are David New, Karl Hermanns, and Judy Collinson). Also dismissed this week was Steven Ho, a designer buyer for labels including Lanvin and Balenciaga. [WWD]
