It's no coincidence that both Lady Gaga and Nicola Formichetti released new videos today that are largely dominated by shapely breasts, butts, and cheekbones. In Formichetti's case, the short film is a teaser of his Mugler Fall 2011 womenswear collection, which will show in Paris on Wednesday. Set to eerie heartbeats and abstract chanting, the camera pans over a sculpture of a buxom female with ridged cheekbones and an oblong head; images of the statue, which was made by Rein Vollenga, have been leaked onto the Internet over the past week.
Speaking of cheekbones, the pointy facial and shoulder prosthetics worn by Lady Gaga on last week's Gayle King Show played a starring role in her new "Born This Way" music video, which also dropped today. Although the video featured very little clothing in favor of shapely butt cheeks and cleavage, Formichetti's muse Rico, who was the basis of his menswear collection in January, plays a starring role, appearing in several scenes alongside Gaga dressed as a pink-haired female version of him.
What's more, Formichetti revealed today that Gaga, in addition to being the musical director of his show (as she was for his Mugler debut in January) will debut a never-before-heard track as his collection walks. And the muse-to-muse-to-muse circle is officially complete!
