The Cut Joins Tumblr’s Fashion Week Foray

Our pretty new Tumblr page.

This Fashion Week, The Cut is launching our brand-new, very lovely Tumblr page, where you'll find quick highlights of the day's news along with pretty pictures of fall 2011's best clothes, best-dressed showgoers, and more. It'll be part of Tumblr's new Fashion Week hub, which will go live later today at

Yes, if you wanted to come to Fashion Week, stay in New York for free, go to shows, and take a few meals with major designers, fashion personalities, and editors, you might regret not having started a fashion blog on Tumblr right about now. The site is sending 24 fashion bloggers to New York Fashion Week and aggregating their posts. The lucky bloggers' busy schedule includes breakfast with Nina Garcia, a private brunch at new Lucky editor Brandon Holley's apartment in Red Hook, and a meeting with Oscar de la Renta to discuss his new collection prior to his show (the brand invited all the bloggers to attend). The full list of Tumblr's Fashion Week bloggers is here:
