British Vogue’s Editor Supposedly Told Kate Middleton to Wed in Alexander McQueen

How on earth does one decide what to wear for the biggest wedding the world has seen in 30 years? Not by relying on her own taste, that's for sure. But by calling up top fashion people, including British Vogue editor Alexandra Shulman, among other editors and stylists, sources tell the Telegraph. Though the house of Alexander McQueen, which is under 36-year-old Sarah Burton's design direction, has denied they are involved at all in designing Kate Middleton's wedding dress, that could very well be a LIE. Shulman was allegedly asked who her top pick would be for that dress, and she reportedly said the house of McQueen.

Reports that Mrs Burton had won the assignment have already prompted bookmakers to cut the odds on a McQueen wedding dress from 14-1 to 1-20.

Kate reportedly loved the McQueen dress fashion journalist Sara Buys wore when she married the Duchess of Cornwall's son Tom Parker Bowles six years ago. We hope it's McQueen. It's hard to think of something British with the potential to be as stunning.
