The latest get-it-before-it's-gone collaboration: Artists Ethan Cook and Sara Gates of Cook & Gates are teaming up with Brooklyn darling Mary Meyer. The trio debuted a limited-edition line of hand-dyed totes, pouches, and beach blankets in bleached-out black or blue denim. The sturdy, roomy bags are great for schlepping to the park — just throw them in the wash if they get dirty. Stop by the Cook & Gates pop-up in Williamsburg next Saturday to shop the wares in a range of one-off colors or just admire the view: The duo fashioned a fabric ocean out of blue-dyed blankets, complete with a sandy indoor beach.
Bags, $40; bag and pouch combo, $50; and beach blankets, $60, online or at the Cook & Gates pop-up, 210 Kent Ave., nr. Metropolitan Ave., on June 4.
