FTC Fines Nivea for Claiming Its Cream Causes Weight Loss; German Vogue Promotes the Gray-Hair Trend

• The Federal Trade Commission ordered Nivea to stop claiming its Silhouette cream causes weight loss and to pay a $900,000 fine. As FTC chairman Jon Leibowitz puts it: "The real skinny on weight loss is that no cream is going to help you fit into your jeans. The tried and true formula for weight loss is diet and exercise."
