The Duchess of Cambridge is clearly not a person who looks to the runways to dictate her wardrobe. Even her wedding dress, though designed by Alexander McQueen's Sarah Burton, was much more Kate being Kate than McQueen being McQueen. But over the weekend Kate aired herself out publicly at the horse races with her husband and brother-in-law wearing all-white, one of spring's most on-trend — and princess-appropriate — looks. (Honestly, can you see her color-blocking? No, you can't.)
As the other super-famous white dress Kate wore to her wedding prepares to go on display at Buckingham Palace over the summer, so fans can view it in person, the white Reiss dress Kate wears in this picture has sold out. The jacket is by Joseph, a label that you can shop on Net-a-Porter, though Kate's jacket is not for sale there. Her L.K. Bennett shoes are available online as we type this, but in black instead of nude.
Kate did the princes a favor by looking so good, because while nothing can take the wind out of the sails they call trousers, she certainly takes the focus off the way they billow so.
