Model Selita Ebanks attended the Children of the City benefit in New York yesterday wearing a look from Christian Cota's fall 2011 collection: a sheer blouse featuring an intricate lace pattern and a layered, pleated skirt with the same pattern painted on. On the runway, this look was braless, but Selita chose to preserve her modesty and wear underwear. She also wore a pair of black lace-up peep-toe heels, carried a small black clutch, and styled her hair in a loose braid.
There's a lot happening here, with patterns and lines, from the tailoring to the braid and even Selita's shoelaces. Is the look a little too busy, and if so, how could she have dressed it down?
