Lifetime released the full roster of designers competing in Project Runway’s ninth season, which starts on July 28. In the running are a scandal-plagued beauty queen, the token hipsters and crazy-haired kooks, the series’s oldest designer so far, and the amusingly named Gunnar Deatherage. (Well, it beats Suede as a surely-must-be-fake name.) Try not to get too attached to your first-look faves, though, as the first episode trims the cast from twenty to sixteen before even the first design challenge — and of course one more hopeful still will be “out” thanks to that.
