• Despite the tough economy, Mary Kay added 165,000 independent beauty consultants in April, the largest such monthly hire in 10 years. [MarketWatch]

FRAGRANCE
Freja Beha Erichsen appears in the ads for Valentino's first fragrance from its new licensing deal with Puig called Valentina.[WWD]

• Having sold more than $850 million worth of her own perfume, Celine Dion has a new one coming out. An executive for Coty, which makes the fragrances, says, "Celine Dion has shown repeatedly that she is an icon who touches people." Also: who makes Coty craploads of dough. [WWD]

• BCBG has never had a fragrance, but will beginning August 1. [WWD]

• The creases around David Beckham's eyes are visible in the ads for his latest fragrance, somewhat comically titled David Beckham Homme. [Styleite]

SKIN
• Bethenny Frankel's line of Skinnygirl skincare and body products debuts this fall. She says she felt compelled to enter the market because, “a $150 eye cream is ridiculous and absurd.” Yes, Bethenny — the $150 eye cream. [WWD]

NAILS
• RGB and celebrity manicurist Jenna Hipp made an environmentally friendly line of nude-hued polishes. May your nails never contribute to global warming again. [Refinery29]
