Freida Pinto’s New L’Oreal Campaign Draws the Expected Ire; Tom Brady Doesn’t Take His Long Hair ‘Too Seriously’

Freida Pinto.

MAKEUP
• The first ad from Freida Pinto's latest L'Oreal campaign has debuted. She's advertising the company's line of Colors eyeshadow; bloggers are already suggesting that, as has allegedly been the case in previous L'Oreal ads, her skin has been lightened. [ONTD]

• Lauren Conrad is already planning for an expansion of her website, The Beauty Department, to include a line of makeup and beauty products. [BellaSugar]

HAIR
• Tom Brady "doesn't take [his] hair too seriously," in case you were wondering. But you probably should have known that — case in point: scrunchies. [WWD]

• Shot with cutesy little pigtails, Lara Stone is on the cover of the new T Magazine. [Design Scene]

SKIN
• In addition to the star-power brought by a McCartney double act — dad Paul's responsible for the music, daughter Stella for the costumes — last night's premiere of Ocean's Kingdom at the New York City Ballet had makeup courtesy of renowned makeup artist Pat McGrath. [Beauty Counter Blog]

• Things that exist: temporary tattoos to go around your nipples. Great. [Girls in the Beauty Dept./Glamour]

FRAGRANCE
• To promote her new fragrance, Diane von Furstenberg sent wrap-dress-clad flash-mobs around NYC yesterday, all chanting her initials like well-dressed (but still crazy) people. [Racked]

• Some people wear their perfumes to bed, going as far as to re-spritz just before it's sleep time. Allure's beauty bloggers would like to know if you're one of them. [Daily Beauty Reporter/Allure]
