If it's been driving you crazy that Kate Middleton is staying inside with her fashionable clothes, it's for a good and necessary reason. She's in princess camp, you see, which consists of briefings "on how the State works, getting to know our national institutions better and learning more about organisations such as the arts, the media and the government," a source tells the Telegraph. Her husband Prince William wanted her to be prepared for royal life, which his mom Princess Diana wasn't — something she complained about to the press, who were sympathetic to her difficult position.
But as for Kate, what on earth is she doing with her undoubtedly well-dressed self? Apparently she's dividing her time between meeting with charities in London, deciding which causes she wants to take on, and spending time with her man in Anglesey, where they live in a normal house and do their own grocery shopping. She wants to spend as much time with William as possible, it is said, before he has to go to the Falkland Islands with his RAF Search and Rescue squadron without her. In the new year, Kate will announce her causes and be more visible. But until then, we'll barely see her at all, the Telegraph reports.
Royal aides have kept the Duchess’s official duties to around one engagement per month until the end of the year in order to give her time to get used to her new life.
The good news is she'll be out in front of the cameras to entertain us next week when she and William make an official visit to a hospital.
