Mugler creative director Nicola Formichetti might be the opposite sort of designer to Tom Ford. While Ford allows no photos of his collections until weeks after they’ve walked, at which time he’ll inevitably give a place like Vogue an exclusive first shot at publishing pictures of his stuff, Formichetti offers teasers, live coverage during the show, and elements that involve Lady Gaga to anyone in the world with a computer. The spring 2012 Mugler show walks Thursday, September 29 in Paris, but beginning Monday, Formichetti will blog about the collection from the Mugler atelier. Leading up to the show, various teasers will trickle out on Facebook and other social media. Fathom! Photos of the clothes for lots and lots of people to be excited about! On the Internet! The show will also include a remix of a Lady Gaga song, of course, and a video of her made by Inez and Vinoodh.
