The Kenzo Makeup Wasn’t Supposed to Look Like a Teen Vogue Spread; Jennifer Lopez Spotted With a Low-Maintenance Hairstyle

• When describing the makeup backstage before the Kenzo show over the weekend, makeup artist Peter Phillips said, "“I didn’t want all the girls to have a red lip or a black nail like a funny, quirky Teen Vogue shoot—and I mean that with the utmost respect. • Breaking: Jennifer Lopez wore a jaw clip out over the weekend. Glamour can't believe how chic she made it look, but reasons, "The only conclusion I can reach is that Jennifer Lopez is the queen of casual-cute hair. • And Florence Welch has chopped her hair into a messy bob. Perhaps so she won't need a jaw clip? [Elle]

• Isaiah Mustafa, the "Old Spice guy," caused controversy and lots of ranting on Twitter after telling Giuliana Rancic in an interview he'd only be looking for a wife with well-kept tresses, saying "yes, it does have to be real hair. I want my kids to have nice hair so she better have good hair." [Styleite]

• Wearing pieces from the fall 2011 couture collections in a new V magazine spread, models including Aymeline Valade, Emily Baker, and Candice Swanepoel got ornate, avant-garde hairstyles to rival their outfits. []
