Alexander Wang's spring 2012 runway show catapulted two completely unknown models, Maria Bradley and Lara Mullen, into the industry's highest stratosphere. Bradley, a native of Wichita, Kansas, opened the show and went on to land two exclusives with Versace and Balenciaga in Milan and Paris, respectively. Meanwhile, British face Mullen was booked for Prada and Givenchy. Both girls were discovered mere weeks before the show, then plucked out of high school and flown to New York with nary a clue about what they were in for; Wang's team did a video about their surreal experiences.
