The white dress Amy Winehouse wore on the European cover of her second album, Back to Black, sold at auction today. It raised over $67,000 (£43,200), a grand total more than four times the auction estimate; the final bid came from a private fashion museum in Chile. The money goes to a foundation in the singer's name set up after her death, which supports programs to help vulnerable young people. Amy's father, one of the foundation's founders, says he plans to begin distributing the funds as soon as tomorrow.
