Anna Wintour Honored for Championing Gay Rights

Previously, she was the senior features editor at Harper's Bazaar and a senior editor at the Cut. She was also the editorial director for MM.LaFleur. Her work has also been published in Glamour, Art in America, Politico, and other places.

Anna Wintour, who’s been an outspoken supporter of gay rights for years, will receive an Ally for Equality award from the the Human Rights Campaign (HRC), according to a press release. The Ally award is given to a non-LGBT figure who demonstrates outstanding support for the LGBT community. Wintour will be presented with the award on February 4.
