At last night's launch party for Jason Wu's new Target line, the designer explained the black-cat motif that's been the theme of the collection's ads and clothing. It was his idea, he says: "I'm a cat person. I have two cats." (His publicist told us later that their names are Peaches and Jinxy.) They're also gray, just like his whole apartment, as we saw for ourselves recently. Are they as friendly as the cat in Wu's Target ads? "They don’t come out. They’re very shy."
