David Beckham Says His Super Bowl Ad Embarrassed His Kids; Karlie Kloss Wants a Burberry Catwalk Spot

• David Beckham on his Super Bowl ad: “When we were watching the Super Bowl yesterday in a room of about 20 people and it came on and I actually didn’t know where to look,” he said. “I’m very shy. It was kind of embarrassing. The kids loved it but they were also embarrassed as well because there were other people in the room.” [Vogue UK]

• Made Fashion Week unveils a new app that broadcasts live images of runway shows and presentations. Users can review and take notes on individual looks, e-mail favorite looks, and tweet about shows. [NYT]

• American Apparel’s sales continue to improve and the company is expected to report an 11 percent increase in same-store sales for the month of January. “We are managing the assortments on the store floors more precisely, making sure managers adhere to standards and we don’t have the distractions — like labor issues at our factory — that we had in previous years,” says CEO Dov Charney. • MyHabit, Amazon’s members-only flash-sale site, launched a designer section yesterday afternoon, alongside the other tabs for the women’s, men’s, children’s, and home categories.
