MAKEUP

Ardent fans waited seven hours to meet Katy Perry as she introduced a new range of false eyelashes as part of a collaboration between the singer and cosmetics brand Eyelure. Ever the humanitarian, Perry says she hopes the product proves educational: “A lot of times girls in the States are uneducated on how to use [false eyelashes] ... if you have one or two things to put on in the morning, you put on a bronzer and lashes, and you are good to go.” [WWD]

Marcel Nars, the bulldog who appeared in a 2010 Nars "Pro-Prime" makeup campaign, passed away. Marcel's owner François Nars wrote a tribute. [Bellasugar]
