When Paul Rudd took the stage at Cosmopolitan's Fun and Fearless Awards at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel last night, he was just as adorable as you'd expect. "When I told my wife that I won a Fun and Fearless Male Award, after she did a spit-take, she said, ‘I’m not going to go to that dinner with you, because if I did, that in some way validates and acknowledges this giant falsehood," he explained in his acceptance speech. He went on: "Actually, it’s just because the babysitter bailed on us [that she's not here], but I know the truth."
Fellow attendees included Cosmo editor Kate White and recent cover girls Freida Pinto and Dakota Fanning. The most fearless thing Fanning has done lately? "Probably starting college," she admitted. Does she consult the magazine for man advice? "I read Cosmo for tips," she said, laughing.
