Dolce & Gabbana filed a trademark infringement lawsuit in South Africa against a local gift shop called "Dolce & Banana" back in January. According to The Fashion Law, the suit stated that the store "makes a mockery of the well-known trademark, Dolce & Gabbana" and demanded a name change. The shop's owner, Mijou Beller, promptly changed its sign to read "... & Banana" — problem solved, right? However, she says that Gado is still trying to get her to pay back their attorneys' fees.
