British prime minister David Cameron and his wife, Samantha, arrived stateside Tuesday, and while their husbands jetted off to Ohio to take in some basketball, Samantha joined Michelle Obama for an Olympics-themed event with children held at American University. For the occasion, SamCam picked a bright pink top by Roksanda Ilincic, and MObama wore a beaded yellow cardigan by L'Wren Scott and cream-colored trousers.

Today, with the boys back in town, the White House hosted an official welcoming ceremony for the Brits (fun fact: it's Samantha's first official trip abroad). Michelle wore a gray dress and jacket by Zac Posen and Samantha wore Roksanda Illincic again — this time a wool color-blocked dress. See these outfits and more in our Michelle Obama Look Book.
