This year's Royal Ascot horse racing festival in the United Kingdom comes with newly tightened dress codes, in an attempt to put a little bit of the prestige back in the proceedings. But this year's Aintree races started today in Liverpool with no such concerns apparent. And thank goodness, because what would we do without the opportunity to critique poorly dressed, tipsy British women stumbling in their cheap cork-wedge heels?
