After buttering her up with questions about Harvard Business School, an Access Hollywood reporter asked Tyra Banks about that one time last week when she fired everyone she works with. Banks said, "We've reached a point where we feel that the show just needs a new boost, and there's a lot of people that go into that decision, and it's very difficult because I love [Nigel Barker, J. Alexander, and Jay Manuel], and, I mean, they're my guys. They've been there since the beginning of the show. But they'll still be there because my partner Ken Mok and I, we have projects that we're developing and we're a family, so it doesn't end." The reporter then noted, "I think for most people, the hardest thing to do is to let somebody go ... As a boss, is it hard for you to pick up the phone? I mean, Oprah said it was the hardest thing she's ever done." Tyra said, "Yeah, you know, yeah, it is."
