Can’t a Prince Just Go to a Nightclub Without Getting Punched in the Face?

STOCKHOLM, SWEDEN - MARCH 22: Prince Carl Philip of Sweden waits to greet Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall and Prince Charles, Prince of Wales as they arrive at Arlanda Airport on March 22, 2012 in Stockholm, Sweden. According to a statement released by Sweden's palace, 33-year-old Prince Carl Philip "was together with friends outside a club in Cannes, France, in the early hours of August 11" when he "was attacked, unprovoked, by a person unknown to the prince and his party," adding, "The prince is fine, under the circumstances, and was not injured in the incident." A spokesman told AFP that charges haven't been pressed yet, if they will be. But Carl Philip could always say he has chin scratches and go on disability, you know. That's not unheard of in royal circles.
