The Post Says ‘Rachel Zoe’s Clothing Empire Might Soon Be in Shreds’

Though buyers lit’rally died upon seeing Zoe’s last collection, “Page Six” reports that the stylist’s line isn’t selling well, and that The Rachel Zoe Project could be canceled. (Why not start two rumors with one column, really?) And supposedly, Zoe’s season four assistant Jeremiah Brent is getting his own Bravo reality show. (Whoops, there goes another rumor!) But back to the shredded clothing empire … Alan Chartash, the chief strategy officer for Zoe’s parent company, Li & Fung USA, remarked:

We’re very happy. Apparel launched a year or so, and since that time, we’ve launched footwear, handbags, and we’re launching a line of jewelry exclusively with Neiman Marcus and Bergdorf Goodman. We’re supportive of Rachel and the continuation of the brand. Like any clothing line, it ebbs and flows, but we’re very happy with the apparel sales.

See? This Alan Chartash guy is very happy. There’s nothing to worry about!
