Who Wants to See More of Nicole Kidman's Butt Cheeks?

Nicole Kidman's lower bottom festoons the cover of Vmagazine's fall issue, and the accompanying spread shows her in various stages of undress. Obviously everyone's making a fuss over her quasi-nudity, but it's also worth rooting for her gloriously tacky, teased blonde hair (a popular look for September, evidently), frosty lips, and gobs of blue eye shadow, described as "a chic trash mix" by makeup artist and Visionaire founder James Kaliardos. Isn't it wonderful when high fashion glorifies the tater tot-consuming, garden gnome-planting segment of America?

Kaliardos explained via email today how he got the idea for Kidman's look:

I wanted to strip Nicole's image bare... I kept saying, "This isn't Portrait of a Lady." Nicole doesn't over-think it. She barely looked in the mirror and just said, "Great." The inspiration came from Lee Daniel's The Paper Boy, where she plays a white trash southern woman who obsessively writes to inmates in prison...The character drove the shoot.

Check out (and zoom in on!) the full editorial in all its joyful trashiness, plus enjoy a GIF of the fold-out cover and a behind-the-scenes video of the shoot with Mario Testino.
