Fashion Week's newest "It" venue is the dark and air-conditioning-less warehouselike space inside of the U.S. Post Office on 33rd Street and Eighth Avenue. And despite yesterday's nearly autumnal temperatures, it still felt like a sauna backstage at the 3.1 Phillip Lim show ... and the electricity went out. This meant only half of the blow dryers were available for hairstylists, and there was not a lot of light for the makeup artists and manicurists. But Team Nails forged on, trying to re-create Michelle Saunders's retro-inspired, two-tone nail look with Essie polishes. Watch as we truly attempt to avoid getting polish on the cuticles (nail-polish remover quickly became our best friend).
