Aquafresh, beryl, soft chlorine — call it what you will — the icy blue-green color has been making the rounds for spring 2013, with New York designers displaying it in full looks and as a striking counterpoint to blacks and reds. Consider it a welcome chromatic update, an upgrade from fall's ubiquitous mint. What do we love most about it? It's flattering on just about any skin tone. The hue hit the runway today as part of Jessica Stam's opening look for Rodarte (prediction: this will be in every other high fashion editorial), in sharp and curve-hugging looks at Cushnie et Ochs, and at Donna Karan, in a gauzy diaphanous organza dress.
