The two remaining jailed members of Russia’s feminist punk band Pussy Riot were separated and transferred to work camps east of Moscow, the BBC reports. According to lawyers for Pussy Riot and activist group Voina, Nadya Tolokonnikova was sent to Mordovia and Masha Alyokhina was sent to Perm. Pussy Riot’s Twitter account called them the “cruelest camps of any that could have been chosen.” Last week, a plea to defer the women’s sentences until their young children were 14 years old was rejected.
