• Beauty editor Felicia Milewicz is leaving Condé Nast after 41 years. Though currently the beauty director at Glamour, she got her start as an assistant at Mademoiselle. "At that time, an assistant was not just an assistant," she says. "We did everything to make our bosses look good, even if that meant taking their dog to the veterinarian, or burning a wool sweater and smelling it to make sure it was actually wool."
