Carine Roitfeld’s CR Fashion Book is gearing up for its second issue, which comes out during New York Fashion Week this February. In the meantime, here’s an exclusive first look at one of their resort-themed online editorials, starring model Anmari Botha wearing designer clothes layered over full-body wetsuits. Which is brilliant, really: Why worry about undergarments when your neon swimming costume can do triple-duty as panties, bra, and Spanx, all without unsightly lines?
Of the setting, Roitfeld says, “The shoot was done at the Piscine Pontoise, which is one of the most exceptional swimming pools in Paris. I first found out about it from Hedi Slimane years ago. It’s great because it is open late at night and they play classical music while you swim.” So, a Hedi-approved pool! We’re now accepting bets on how many Saint Laurent pieces will be in the next issue.
