As we all know, Blake Lively and Martha Stewart are close pals. So close, in fact, that Lively gave Martha Stewart Weddings the exclusive on her nuptials this summer, not Vogue or Us or People or any of the other magazines that usually fall all over themselves for this kind of celebrity to-do. The pictures finally came out online today, which is exciting (or, you know, “exciting”), because even though Blake wed Ryan Reynolds in September, no other images have surfaced yet — not even blurry ones taken from a helicopter hovering a mile away. Anyway, there was one disappointing (well, “disappointing”) caveat.
They wanted to celebrate in privacy – and in style. And while they remain protective of images of them on their most heartfelt occasion, they graciously let us share pictures of the elements we created together.
So, in other words, there are no actual pictures of Blake, Ryan, or even Blake’s dress (save one that showed their hands, but for all we know, that could be anybody, especially since we can’t even see her ring). Instead, there’s a lengthy slideshow of desserts punctuated with the occasional floral bouquet. Which are all lovely, of course, in that Pinterest kind of way. We weren’t able to get permission to post the images, but the stock photo above is a pretty fair substitute.
