Clinton’s Emotions, Though Fake, Are Scary

Thank God for the New York Post, the handiest daily reminder of why it still sucks to be a woman. (Although Tucker Carlson appears to be gunning for its spot.) Not satisfied with the assertion that the secretary of State was faking the blood-clot-inducing concussion that forced her to postpone yesterday's Benghazi hearing, today's edition worries that by briefly raising her voice Hillary Clinton emasculated her poor husband, the former president of the United States. Of course, Bill needn't actually worry that his wife might be in possession of the full spectrum of human emotion, as Senator Ron Johnson tells BuzzFeed she was faking that, too.

"I'm not sure she had rehearsed for that type of question," he told BuzzFeed after the Senate Foreign Relations Committee hearing. "I think she just decided before she was going to describe emotionally the four dead Americans, the heroes, and use that as her trump card to get out of the questions. It was a good way of getting out of really having to respond to me." As for the concussion conspiracy theory, the Post is still suspicious of how quickly Clinton recovered. "Clinton, who has been recently ill and off the job for a month after suffering from a concussion and a blood clot, appeared in good health and seemed to relish the jousting. The only noticeable difference was that she wore black, horn-rimmed glasses." What? These old thingsSo sweet of them to notice.
