Martha Stewart Going to Court With Macy’s

Oh, Martha.

The multiple lawsuits involving Martha Stewart, Macy's, and J.C. Penney are going to court next month. Judge Jeffrey Oing set the trial date for February 19 and has blocked off three weeks to handle the case, which won't be presented to a jury, WWD reports. As you may recall, this mess started in late 2011 when Martha Stewart signed a deal to sell branded products at J.C. Penney, which made Macy's angry because they have an exclusive contract with her. Macy's won a preliminary injunction against J.C. Penney selling Martha's products last year, so precedence shows the case  to be weighted in their favor.
