Allibellus’s fall 2013 menswear collection walked today in Paris — a procession of models dressed in oversize quilted coats, cropped tuxedo jackets, and shimmery M.C. Hammer–style pants, rendered in black and aubergine. But what stood out the most was the beauty look. Their pale skin and spiked hair reminded us of our sweet, slightly goth high-school boyfriends. A shock of eggplant-hued liner shot out from the outside corners of eyelids, stopping an inch short of the boys’ ears. Instead of time-traveling back to the late nineties, luckily, Le Metier de Beaute’s newest Indelible Ink liquid liners includes Castalla, a deep aubergine. Unlike most felt-tipped liquid liners, these go on with a supremely thin brush. After a few seconds of drying time following application (keep your eye closed for this), the color is set. No smudging or smearing.
