Evidently, "record numbers of American buyers" — like those from Bergdorf Goodman, Saks Fifth Avenue, Barneys, Neiman Marcus, and Nordstrom — plan to attend London Fashion Week, the Evening Standard reports. Caroline Rush, the British Fashion Council's CEO, called the amount of RSVPs "unprecedented ... This season is set to be one of our strongest yet." The paper attributes (at least part of) the newfound interest to Tom Ford, who will stage a normal runway show this season, with bloggers, photographers, and non-Beyoncé models. It would be better if he cast 172 different Beyoncés and let us watch the show over buffalo wings later.
