A Knight Commander of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire, to be exact. According to WWD, the LVMH chairman and CEO received the honor from Prince Charles at Clarence House earlier this week for his "services to business and the wider community in the U.K.," as announced last October. The trade reports LVMH "operates about 100 stores in the U.K., and employs some 3,000 people," thanks to formalwear brand Thomas Pink and Glenmorangie whiskey — both owned by the luxury goods conglomerate — and its retail joint venture with De Beers.

As a Knight Commander of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire, Bernie can be referred to as Bernard Arnault, KBE, but not Sir Bernard Arnault. He is also a Grand Officer of the French Legion of Honour and Belgium's Most-Needed Citizen.
