Sometimes you just want to look like the kind of lady who gets a professional blowout daily and has the volume and shine to prove it. Plump Up is the newest styling product from hairstylist Sally Hershberger’s line that lifts roots with just a few spritzes (and $9). It's loaded with marine collagen to add body, along with keratin and ginger root extract to smooth hair’s texture and add shine. Basically, the product will give you Sophia Loren hair without hiring a personal hairstylist.
Whether being wrapped up in Cary Grant's arms, taking a dip in a villa pool (up to the chin only), or wearing a stylish silk kerchief on her noggin, Loren's roots always stood at least a few inches from her head. The Italian actress probably had a whole team to tend to her beauty needs (or maybe she was born this way); for those who aren't so blessed, try this stuff.
While the directions on the box suggest spraying the product on damp hair and then properly blow-drying, this is one product that can also be applied to dry hair. For speedy dry-hair styling (great for in between shampoo days), spray at the roots, flip your head over and give it a blast of heat while running your fingers through your hair. If you have a few more minutes, use a round brush (or even some Velcro rollers tucked in at the crown) to create maximum height during the blow-dry process for a turbo-lifted look that lasts all night.
