Today, it seemed like Cannes had suddenly morphed into a convention for Victoria's Secret models past and present. The premieres of Cleopatra and Behind the Candelabra were crawling with folks like Joan Smalls, Chanel Iman, Erin Heatherton, Jessica Hart, and Barbara Palvin, with a few actors like Matt Damon and Moran Atias thrown in to remind people what the red carpet was actually for. Smalls was arguably the best dressed of her runway cohorts in plunging blush-pink Emilio Pucci, although it was hard to ignore Petra Nemcova in a shimmery white gown by the same designer.
Meanwhile, the actresses did a good job of holding their own, particularly Sharon Stone in her electric blue Cavalli. Jessica Chastain made a decent showing in white Versace, which she jazzed up with an enormous necklace, and Milla Jovovich wore a backless Prada dress that resembled a sparkly pinafore.
