Resort is that odd, catch-all season that basically encompasses whatever designers think will sell. And for Gucci, that apparently means sparkly pajamas. The label’s resort collection, presented today in Milan, featured drapey, glittery, baggy suits that were equally perfect for napping and walking red carpets. We’ve heard of clothes that go from desk to dinner — these outfits take you the extra mile from bars to bed. How nice to wake up having intentionally passed out in the same clothes you went out in! This really takes the pajama pants trend to an extra-glamorous new level. (What’s more, once they go out of style, you’ll at least have some really luxurious pj’s.)
