17 Ways to Wear Mint, a Perfectly Pale Color for Summer

Subtly cool, clean-cut, and refreshing — mint, when done right, is the accent color that can make a look feel both fresh and edgy. We've seen the shade pop up on the fall and couture runways, and again for resort, which we take to mean that the hue has lasting power. The best mint falls on the cooler side of the color spectrum and can work as a surprising accent against bolder colors like a bright blood-red, a graphic black or white, or even just against navy — as seen on the Christian Dior haute couture runway. For the fearless, why not try wearing it with a deep fuchsia nail polish or shoe? Or try wearing a small accent of mint with polka dots or a graphic stripe. Whatever you choose, each of these seventeen items below would be ideal for summer.
