Confirmed: Jessica Simpson’s reality fashion-competition show, best described as a weak adaptation of Project Runway, has been canceled by NBC after two lackluster seasons, according to E!. Despite a large cast of celebrities like Nicole Richie, John Varvatos, and Elle Macpherson (who was later replaced by Louise Roe), audiences never really committed, and now Simpson has one less job in fashion. Perhaps Claudia Schiffer’s German version, Fashion Hero, will fare better.
